Information for Visitors

Visitors, this information is from the Biosecurity Management Plan that applies to the property known as Benaroon (Registered Biosecurity Entity RBE159838). It is an offence under the Biosecurity Act 2014 to fail to comply with the measures stated in the plan when entering, present at, or leaving the Property.

Vehicles, Machinery and Equipment, People and Animals can carry Disease, Pests, Weeds and Seeds.
ENTRY / EXIT PROCEDURES FOR VISITORS & ESSENTIAL SERVICE PROVIDERS

Property Access Appointment Only

 All property boundary gates are locked. Entry for Visitors, Contractors and Essential Service Providers is by appointment only.

Under no circumstances should persons enter the property without approval.

To book an Appointment. Please telephone the property owner 0427 212 032 or click the link below and Book an Appointment.

When making an appointment. Please state reason for visit. Proposed date and time of entry. Work to be done and location to be accessed.

For a copy of the property map click on the link below or telephone to discuss the location.

Once an Appointment has been made. The property owner will carry out a risk assessment. An appointment date and time will then be confirmed and instruction given on any additional procedures to follow upon entry.

Vehicles Come Clean

 At this stage no clean down facilities are available on property. We ask that service persons and contractors clean their vehicles, machinery and any other equipment before entering. Please follow the recommended clean-down procedures for vehicles and machinery. After Clean-Down a Hygiene Weed Declaration should be completed. Click on the button below for this declaration. Please provide the completed declaration on entry.

To avoid reinfestation of disease and weeds after clean down. The vehicles and machinery should be driven on sealed public roads (bitumen or road based material no grass) only and directly to one of the Property Entries.

No entry will be permitted unless the vehicle, machinery and or equipment is inspected clean by the property owner and the completed Hygiene Weed Declaration is provided. Entry will only be permitted via one of the two gates on Nukku North Road to be advised. No entry from back boundary on Cooyar Creek or side boundaries is permitted.

All Vehicles, plant and equipment to be taken off the main track and into restricted access areas such as paddocks. From the 1st of February 2024 will require an official certified washdown from a 3rd Party and provide a Vehicle Hygiene Inspection Report from a trained and certified inspector.

 As no clean down facilities are available at this time, service persons and contractors can also arrange to park at the gate and be transported by the property owner. Details to be arranged by telephone prior to arrival.

General Entry Procedures as follows:

Wait for owner at gate on Nukku North Road as directed in appointment confirmation.

Scan QR code on gate or click on button below and complete the property check-in form on mobile phone.

Before entry owner will visually inspect Vehicles, Machinery & Equipment, Boots and Protective Clothing.  

Depending on Farm Area to be visited boots (footwear) may need to be disinfected onsite. Owner will provide foot bath if required.

Visitors to provide completed Hygiene Weed Declaration “Clean Down Record” or use optional owner transport if arranged prior to arrival.

Vehicles must remain on the tracks provided in the designated areas. Tracks are marked on map. Owner will carry out risk assessment for any Vehicles, Machinery or Equipment needing to deviate from tracks prior to entry.  As of the 1st of February 2024 contractors and workers in these areas may require an official certified washdown from a 3rd Party and to provide a Vehicle Hygiene Inspection Report from a trained and certified inspector.

Depending on reason for visit and results of risk assessment. Owner may choose to supervise visitors while on property.

Visitors must notify owner on departure or provide time of departure on arrival.

Unless advised on entry visitors must exit via same gate they enter the property.
